This painting by artist Dodici (Edoardo Trionfera) was part of what was probably the first ‘street art jam’ on Bonaire. Five artists joined forces on a large blue wall in the center of Kralendijk late November 2020. Painting side by side, showing each other how they work, teaching each other their tricks, inspiring each other and having fun.
Dodici is an Italian illustrator and street artist that was visiting Bonaire for the Street Colors Bonaire project. He stayed on Bonaire for six weeks to work with local talented kids and artists. In his cartoonish, urban style Dodici painted here his take of love in times of Corona: Two people, in reality kept apart by mouthpieces and social distance but in their minds (or just his mind?) there are no limitations, no boundaries and they are dancing cheek to cheek.
